 Eye Spy - Beginning Sound

This is a great game for visual learners and gives your children a way to learn hands on whiling focusing on the beginning sound of a word.

Materials:

-Sand box, bottle, or bag

-Different objects from around the house (that begin with different letters)

Directions:

1. Place the objects in the sand (if you are doing a bottle or bag fill with rice)

2. Burry them some so they have to hunt for them

3. Say "I spy an object that starts with ___." (say any letter)

4. Have students find the object that corresponds with that letter

5. Continue on until all the objects have been found
